There is a unique buzz working on a film set. A group of talented craftspeople working diligently to get ready for the shot. This is an exciting and serious place to be. As the set still photographer, you need to be friendly, agile, and unobtrusive as possible—avoid getting in their way. The pictures made from the production are used to promote the project or the behind-the-scenes (BTS) work of the production company. Sometimes the stills can be used in an advertisement.
For over 15 years, DCP Productions depends on my photography for their set photography. They are some of most talented production people in the business. It is a friendly atmosphere, they allow me to photograph what is needed and I stay out of their way. They have used the photos in social media, websites and mementos for the client.
